This notice explains how WheelchairPort processes personal data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
Data controller
WheelchairPort is the data controller. Contact: hello@wheelchairport.com. A registered representative and VERBİS registration will be listed here once completed.
What we collect and why
Booking and contact data (name, email, phone/WhatsApp, delivery address, flight number, rental dates and items) — to provide and support your rental. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
Where you rent respiratory equipment, limited health-related information and a prescription — processed only with your explicit consent and only to fulfil the rental safely and lawfully.
Payment data is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Website analytics in aggregate form, only with your consent (see the Cookie Policy).
Sharing
With delivery staff and couriers to fulfil your booking; with our payment provider; with professional advisers and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Some providers (e.g. email, hosting) may process data outside Türkiye under appropriate safeguards.
Retention
Booking records are kept for the period required by Turkish tax and commercial law (generally 10 years). Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months. Consent-based analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@wheelchairport.com. You may also complain to the Turkish Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).
